This Privacy Policy explains WrightsMind privacy practices in plain English. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee compliance with every law in every jurisdiction.
Who operates this site
This website is operated by Chris Wright Enterprises, LLC, a Pennsylvania business, under the WrightsMind brand. The site includes articles, guides, creative projects, games, music links or embeds, downloadable resources, member registration, email verification, community features, comments/reviews, contact forms, optional donations, online security resources, and native OSINT/security lookup tools.

Information this site may collect
Information you provide
This may include your name, email address, phone number if submitted, contact-form messages, account registration details, profile details, avatar, bio, comments, reviews, community activity, and any files or text you choose to share.
Site activity and technical data
The site may collect IP address, browser type, user agent, device information, pages viewed, referring pages, login attempts, download activity, spam/security signals, cookie data, analytics data, and performance information.
Member and community data
If you create an account, the site may store username, email address, password hash, email verification status, profile data, member activity, guide reviews, comments, and records related to protected downloads.
Donation/payment data
Donations are handled through PayPal. WrightsMind may receive limited donation-related information such as donor name, email address, donation amount, transaction reference, and message if PayPal provides it. WrightsMind does not receive or store full payment card numbers.
OSINT and security tool logging
For native OSINT/security lookup tools, WrightsMind may log limited usage details for abuse prevention, safety, compliance, rate limiting, and troubleshooting. These logs may include timestamp, tool used, submitted query type, submitted query value where appropriate, visitor IP address, browser/user agent, referrer, logged-in user ID if applicable, hCaptcha result if applicable, VPN/proxy/Tor or anonymizing-service signals if detected, and the acknowledgement accepted timestamp.
The password strength checker runs locally in your browser. WrightsMind does not intentionally log passwords typed into that tool, secrets, API keys, full credentials, or anything unnecessary for safety.
WrightsMind uses a 24-hour acknowledgement cookie/session signal so visitors do not have to re-accept the acceptable-use notice before every native tool request. Approximate network/location information may be processed when IP-based security, hosting, analytics, or anti-abuse systems evaluate requests.
Security tool logs are not sold. The default retention period for native OSINT/security tool logs is 90 days, unless logs need to be preserved longer to investigate abuse, comply with law, protect the site or users, troubleshoot a security issue, or resolve a dispute.
Member Breach Lookup
WrightsMind offers a member-only Breach Lookup tool for lawful, defensive, personal security awareness. The tool sends one validated search query at a time from the server to a DeHashed breach lookup API provider. The API token is kept server-side and is not exposed in frontend code.
Breach Lookup may process email addresses, phone numbers, usernames, names, or domains submitted by verified members. Results are normalized and heavily redacted before display. WrightsMind does not intentionally show full leaked passwords, secrets, API keys, SSNs, or raw breach records to visitors.
For abuse prevention, Breach Lookup logs may include user ID, timestamp, IP address, browser/user agent, referrer, query type, a hashed query value, a redacted query preview, result count, hCaptcha result, VPN/proxy signals if available, acknowledgement timestamp, and status/abuse flags. Raw API results are not intentionally stored in logs. Redacted result views may be stored temporarily for display and then expire.
DeHashed and the underlying data sources may return inaccurate, duplicated, incomplete, outdated, unavailable, or historical information. Results are for awareness only and are not sold by WrightsMind.

- Respond to messages, support requests, corrections, project inquiries, and privacy requests.
- Send requested resources, verification emails, password resets, account notices, and service-related messages.
- Operate comments, guide reviews, member profiles, activity feeds, and community features.
- Protect the site from spam, fraud, malicious login attempts, abuse, harmful cyber activity, and automated misuse of tools or forms.
- Run hCaptcha, rate limiting, security logs, breach lookup redaction, and abuse-prevention controls.
- Understand what content is useful, improve performance, troubleshoot errors, and maintain security.
- Process optional donations through PayPal and keep basic records needed for administration, security, tax, or accounting purposes.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce site terms, preserve evidence where legally appropriate, and protect rights, safety, and site integrity.
Third-party services
WrightsMind uses WordPress and WordPress plugins to operate the site. Depending on which features you use, information may be processed by or pass through services such as:
- WordPress, BuddyPress, Contact Form 7, MetForm, Elementor, Newsletter, Antispam Bee, Wordfence, Limit Login Attempts Reloaded, Independent Analytics, Google Site Kit if connected, WP Mail SMTP, and other active WordPress plugins needed to operate the site.
- hCaptcha, which helps protect forms, registration, and higher-risk native security tools from spam and abuse. hCaptcha may process technical and interaction data needed to determine whether a visitor appears to be human.
- PayPal, which processes optional donations and applies its own privacy and payment terms.
- Email and SMTP providers used to send contact replies, verification emails, password resets, notifications, and requested resources.
- Embedded or linked media and platforms, including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, LinkedIn, and similar services. These services may collect information when you interact with their embeds, links, players, or platforms.
- External OSINT, breach lookup, online security, music, portfolio, article, and resource links or providers. Those third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices.
- Hosting, caching, CDN, backup, security, and log-management providers used to keep the site available and secure.
Cookies, sessions, and analytics
The site may use cookies, local storage, pixels, logs, and similar technologies for login sessions, account security, form protection, spam prevention, tool acknowledgement, rate limiting, preferences, analytics, caching, embedded media, and performance. WordPress and related plugins may set cookies for logged-in users, commenters, forms, and site administration.
Analytics may be used to understand traffic, popular pages, referrers, device/browser information, and site performance. WrightsMind uses this information to improve content and security, not to sell personal information.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect logins, forms, community features, protected downloads, embedded media, OSINT/security tools, or other site functions.
User-generated content
Comments, guide reviews, profile details, avatars, bios, and community activity may be visible to other users or visitors depending on the feature and privacy settings. Please do not post private information about yourself or others that you do not want shared. WrightsMind may moderate, remove, or restrict content that violates the Terms of Use or Community Guidelines.
Downloads and protected resources
Some guides or PDFs may require a registered and email-verified account. The site may log download activity to protect resources, understand usage, troubleshoot access issues, and prevent abuse.
Data retention
WrightsMind keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or appropriate for security, backups, legal obligations, accounting, dispute resolution, or site integrity.
- Contact form submissions may be kept long enough to respond and maintain support history.
- Account, profile, verification, community, comment, and review data may remain while the account or content is active.
- Native OSINT/security tool logs default to 90 days unless preserved longer for abuse prevention, safety, compliance, troubleshooting, law, or site protection.
- Security logs, login attempts, spam records, analytics, and download records may be retained for troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and site security.
- Backups may temporarily contain deleted or changed information until backup cycles expire.
Data requests and privacy contact
You may contact [email protected] to request access, correction, deletion, account removal, profile removal, or community-content review/removal where possible. Please include enough information to identify your account or request. WrightsMind may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Some information may not be removable immediately if it is needed for security, legal, accounting, anti-abuse, backup, or legitimate administrative reasons. Public community conversations may also need partial redaction rather than full deletion when removal would affect other users’ content.
State, national, and international privacy concepts
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may provide rights such as access, deletion, correction, portability, restriction, objection, or the right to know certain categories of information. WrightsMind will make a reasonable effort to respond to privacy requests in a practical and respectful way, even when a specific law may not apply to the site.
Children’s privacy
WrightsMind is a general-audience site and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not create accounts, submit forms, post community content, use native OSINT/security tools, or send personal information. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal information, contact [email protected] so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Security limits
WrightsMind uses reasonable site-security practices, including spam protection, login protection, email verification, rate limiting, hCaptcha, security plugins, and access restrictions for member areas. No website, email system, plugin, hosting platform, or internet transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure. Please do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, medical emergency details, secrets, API keys, or other highly sensitive information through forms, comments, or security tools.
External links and embedded media
The site links to external websites, tools, articles, music platforms, videos, and resources. WrightsMind is not responsible for the privacy practices, accuracy, security, availability, or content of third-party sites. Review third-party policies before providing information to them.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the site, plugins, services, or privacy expectations change. The updated date at the top of the page will show when it was last revised.
