Privacy policy
Effective May 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026.
Short version: This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and uses no third-party trackers. The only personal information we ever collect is an email address, and only if you choose to sign up for email updates.
Information we collect from visitors
By default, none. Browsing this site does not require an account and does not place any cookies on your device. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or advertising service, and there are no third-party tracking scripts or social-media widgets on these pages.
Cookies
The /coatesville/ pages set no cookies of any kind. (The main
WordPress website at the parent domain, wrightsmind.com, is a separate system; if
it sets cookies, those are unrelated to this civic-data site and are not used here.)
Server logs
Like virtually all websites, our web server keeps standard access logs for security and troubleshooting. These logs record your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the response status, and your browser's user-agent and referring page. Access logs are retained for approximately 30 days and then automatically deleted. We do not use these logs to build profiles of visitors.
Email updates
We offer an optional email list for occasional updates when significant new information is published. Signing up is the only time we ask for personal information. If you subscribe:
- Your email address is stored with Mailjet, our email-delivery provider, and used only to send these updates.
- We use double opt-in — you confirm your address before receiving anything.
- We never sell, rent, or share your email address.
- Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe at any time.
If the signup form is not yet available on the site, no email addresses are being collected.
Third-party services
- Mailjet — stores subscriber emails and delivers update emails (only if you subscribe).
- OpenAI — an AI provider we may use server-side to summarize verified public finance facts into plain language. This processes public source facts, not visitor data, and only runs when a server environment variable is configured.
- Linked source websites — when you click a source link, you leave this site for an official government or host website, which has its own privacy practices we don't control.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices & rights
The only personal data we may hold about you is an email address you gave us. You can remove it yourself with the unsubscribe link in any email, or request deletion by writing to [email protected].
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
